Christmas Competition!

At work this past month we had a little competition. We each got to decorate our cubicles and then there was 3 judges at the end of the month that chose who were the first three winners. So I decided to bring any extra things I had at home and put it up. And turns out I had plenty of extra things to put up. Matt laughed so hard at me this year. You see I love Christmas it is my favorite part of the year. I am constantly buying new things for Christmas decorations amd apparently forgetting that I have bought certain things. This year we were walking in Costco and I found the cutest ornaments. They were red, white and silver with different styles like pokda dot or striped. They were adorable and I had to have them so Matt was very kind and let me get them. So we are putting up the tree this year and I turns out I bought all new ornaments last year. So now I have two sets, luckily they are the same colors just different styles. Anyways so I have lots of decorations that I can't put up every year because my condo just isn't that big. I would need a house to even start putting most of the things ups. It is a real bad disease and it needs to stop. But I can't stop myself I even went and bought more this year during the Christmas sale. I think I need therapy. So back to the competition. At first noone decorated besides like 2 people and then the competition became big.
Here was my competition.

This was the first guy to do anything

Here was my brother Ryans desk. He didn't join the competition but wanted to post how fun his was.

A Griswolds Christmas.

Yes that is a real fireplace and Santa Claus.

A gingerbread house.

And here was mine. The theme of mine was a Classy Christmas.

I brought in that tv to the right and played Elf. I watched it so many times but you can never see that movie to many times.

It was so much fun to decorate. I felt like I was at home next to my Christmas tree while at work. The Gingebreadhouse took first place. Then Santa Claus took second. And I took third. So I ended up make $25 for just bringing in stuff from my house. So in the end the extra things that I buy each year do come in handy. Just not for what I originally purchased them for. Oh yeah funny story about the tree. This guy at my work had an extra Christmas tree and they weren't going to put it up this year so he said I could use it. Of course there had to be something in return. Well he wasn't making it that way but anyways. A couple weeks ago I was telling him that I had all these buckets of wheat in my house from my in-laws food storage and that I just didn't have room for it so I was going to get rid of it. So to get the Christmas tree I had to give him my wheat. Who knew you could still barter with wheat.
